This holiday season, the I Do Know Foundation invites you to help spread joy and make dreams come true for children who are facing some of life’s toughest challenges. Many young people today, like adults, are navigating struggles such as the loss of a parent or loved one, bullying, living in a single-parent household, illness such as cancer, learning or physical disabilities, and the uncertainty of whether there will be toys or gifts waiting for them during the holidays.

This year, our mission grows even stronger with the introduction of I Do Know Kids, a new community-centered arm of the I Do Know Foundation dedicated to strengthening kids through their struggle. Together, we will support children who have been vetted through trusted local churches and community organizations — ensuring every gift reaches a child who truly needs encouragement, hope, and a reminder that they matter.

🎁 About the Program

​

Each holiday season, the “Shhh… A Child Is Present” Holiday Gift Initiative grants wishes and creates unforgettable moments for children in need. Through partnerships with local churches and organizations, the I Do Know Foundation receives holiday wish requests for items that each child hopes for — sometimes necessities, sometimes comforts, sometimes the simple dream of a toy that brings joy.

This year, with I Do Know Kids at the center of the initiative, our focus expands beyond gifts. We aim to reach the heart of every child’s struggle, offering not only holiday cheer but affirmations of strength, resilience, and love.

💡 How It Works

The initiative is simple but impactful:

**WISH LIST CREATION: 

​

Partner churches and organizations submit holiday wish lists containing:

​

• Children’s names (or initials for privacy)
   

• Wish numbers
   

• Requested toys, personal items, and meaningful gifts

​

**DONOR SELECTION: 

 

Donors receive the wish list, select a child (or multiple children), and commit to granting their holiday wish.

​

GIFT DELIVERY:

​

Donors purchase the selected item(s) and deliver them to the designated drop-off location by the confirmed December deadline.

​

DISTRIBUTION & CELEBRATION:

​

Gifts are distributed to children across the community and within partner churches — ensuring every child experiences the magic and wonder of the season.

How You Can Participate:

​

1. 📩 Request the Wish List: Email your name and contact information to info@IDoKnowFoundation.org to receive the "Shhh…A Child is Present" Holiday Wish List.

2. 🎁 Grant a Wish: Choose a gift from the list, purchase the item, and deliver your gift to the dedicated location by a specified date in December (location details will be shared when you confirm participation).

Gifts are distributed to the children in surrounding communities and to local churches.
